Hey, thanks Bryan! I'm going to check out that Auto Zone muffler today! I've got no problem with saving money, and I have a well-equipped workshop than can handle anything except welding, and being retired, I've got plenty of time to do a good job! I'm just after that low, mellow, throaty sound that you described!
If you're clamping your muffler to your rear axle, that tells me that you're going to keep your "hardtail" configuration. I'm still looking forward to getting pix of your hardtail conversion and your muffler!
